Do not describe it as ghostwriting. # Agent setup availability > Current status of the Write Like Me MCP bridge and paid agent access. The public `@writelikeme/mcp` package and production paid MCP service are not yet available. Configuration shown on pilot Writer Pages is a preview and will not work until the bridge is published. The planned macOS bridge will connect conventional local stdio MCP hosts to the modern, stateless MCP `2026-07-28` service at `https://mcp.writelikeme.dev/mcp`. It will provide: * Certified setup for OpenCode and Claude Code on macOS * A browser-based CDP-managed wallet setup by default * Optional account linking with OAuth * Per-call and rolling daily spend limits * Explicit approval for a new Writer Style, price increase, or cap breach * Durable operation recovery without duplicate payment * Keychain storage for sensitive local state The hosted protocol and x402 payment lifecycle have passed a staging infrastructure spike, but the current endpoint still serves a deterministic development fixture rather than the public product. This page will be replaced with installation and host-specific instructions when the Layer 4 release gate passes.
