# History and deletion

> How browser results are retained and how to delete their prose.

Signed-in consumers can revisit their Transmogrification history and receipts. List views use content-free records; retained input and output prose is loaded only for the applicable result.

## Delete one result

Open the history item and choose **Delete writing**. Success means its input and output bodies have been removed from the primary database.

## Delete all account prose

Use **Delete all writing** from account history to remove the prose bodies for every eligible Operation owned by the account.

Deletion keeps required content-free records, including hashes, provenance, status, and financial metadata. A tombstone prevents queued, retried, or late provider work from restoring deleted prose.

<Warning>
  Provider and backup copies expire under their own retention schedules. Deletion does not mean immediate physical erasure from every provider backup.
</Warning>

Writers never receive consumer input or output prose. Authorized administrators may access retained content for support, abuse handling, and internal quality work.
